The Anderson Lab would like to congratulate two of our undergrads who are undergrads no longer. Congratulations to Ani Venkataraman and Nayeli Cangelosi! Both have graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Genetics and Genomics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison!
Ani now plans to obtain his Masters in regenerative stem cell therapy from Johns Hopkins and has the following advice for the incoming freshman class, “Take every opportunity you can to gain a new experience. It doesn’t matter if it’s a good or bad one – the most important thing is to have a good story to tell afterwards”.
Nayeli who also received a certificate in Health and the Humanities with an Honors in Research now plans to apply for the Master of Science in Pathologists’ Assistant Studies program. Her words of wisdom for the incoming freshman class are, ” Never be afraid to ask for help! You are never alone in this journey and always remember to stay kind to yourself and enjoy every moment”.
