Earlier this month, two of our lab members from our Tribal Data Repository team presented at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society Annual Conference! Sakiah Perez Rivera presented the repository using a beautiful garden metaphor relating research products to the fruits of the garden. Dr. Charee Peters led an hour and a half, interactive session, in which the audience completed hands on learning about Indigenous Data Sovereignty and why the TDR project is so important. Thank you, Sakiah and Charee, for representing the Anderson Lab at AISES!
