This month, Sakiah Perez Rivera, represented the Anderson Lab at the 2025 American Society of Human Genetics Annual Conference. There, with D4I members from other sites, she debuted our project building the first NIH-funded Tribal Data Repository. Our session highlighted the TDR as a platform designed to strengthen Tribal data sovereignty, promote ethical data governance, and foster collaboration between researchers and Tribal Nations and communities.
